My grandmother had these photos, so they are either from the Spencer or Lewis families. I would be thrilled if anyone can identify these people.By the way, are all your photos labeled? Please don't make your descendants have to guess the way we're doing here!  I suspect this is the Lewis family because none of these people look like Spencers. The women's clothing appears to be from the 1880s, and the studio was on Russell Street in Stroud.  No clues Studio

Our ancestors probably would have liked all of their descendants to have everything they left, and with the copying technology we have now, it's possible for all of us to have copies of all the photos and documents. Even if you don't have a scanner, you can use a machine at a store to put a copy of a photo on a CD that you can send by e-mail.
