Herman
and Henry Helms Henry joined his brother
Herman in Minnesota after he arrived
in the United States. This portrait was in Fred and Rose Busch's photos with no identification. The Busch family did not live in the Great Bend area, and the man in the picture does not resemble Henry Helms or Frank Busch. Could this couple be William and Dorothy Eikmeier? The
former Helms home
Burdett, Kansas May 28, 2007 Here is another unidentified portrait found in Fred and Rose (Helms) Busch's photos. It's pasted onto cardboard, which makes it appear quite old. There is no studio identity or location on it. Could it possibly be a portrait of Herman and Henry Helms as children? Compare it with the portrait of them above (the ears!). Herman was 10 years older than Henry. A Note about Photos We're sharing our photos with you--will you share yours with us? Our ancestors probably would have liked all of their descendants to have everything they left, and with the copying technology we have now, it's possible for all of us to have copies of all the photos and documents. Even if you don't have a scanner, you can use a machine at a store to put a copy of a photo on a CD that you can send by e-mail.
