SCHOOLBURDETT KAN. DIST. No. 1 1920 (engraving above entrance just below roof)  The Browns Grove Cemetery is the Burdett cemetery. You can see Burdett in the background on the left. Note the beautiful Kansas sky!  The residents of
Burdett used to have public picnics and
celebrations along the Pawnee River. These pictures were taken from the
bridge across it. Above is the view to the east, and below is the view
to the west.
